About Mark
I have enjoyed a successful career as a financial consultant for multi-million dollar companies. My specialization has been in working with the real-estate construction industry, ensuring these companies have the financial tools they need to build infrastructure and homes. Some of my clients have included large land development firms right here in Edmonton. In the last several years I have begun focusing on non-profit organizations all across Canada.
By helping them be more financially efficient with limited resources, the services these organizations provide have played an important role in bettering our communities.
I have received my degree in Business Management with an emphasis in Supply Chain Management from Brigham Young University. I have always had a passion for serving, whether it be in my local church youth group, organizing food drives across Edmonton for the food bank or in local politics.
My experience in financial management and project management is exactly what I wants to bring to the table.
I am also not a new comer to politics. I have run in the last Municipal election for city councilor in the most progressive area in the city. While not successful I felt it was critical to give the people of Edmonton a choice and feel their voices actually matter. Something I sill strongly believe in.

My "Why"
When I was in my early teens, I learned a phrase that stuck with me and has been a guiding force in my life: "Wherever your lives may be cast, make the world a bit better or more beautiful because you have lived in it." - Edward William Bok (1863-1930)
We now are faced with a choice. Do we accept that our votes are a simple formality for the elite in Ottawa or do we push back?
We need a candidate who is not simply here to get a pension. Does not see Riverbend conservative voters as something to be taken for granted. Not a candidate who is going to occupy a seat for a single term maybe two.
We need a candidate who has the experience to win a campaign, understands the very real financial issues our country is facing, and can give not 4 or 5 years of service but 20 or 30. I believe I can be that candidate
I will do everything I can to ensure we leave this country better and more beautiful than we found it.
